Berlin. After three years, Erik van Kessel, Business Unit Director of NH Hoteles Germany will leave the company on July 1 by "mutual agreement," as reported. His successor will be Jan Hein Simons. Apart from this, NH Hoteles hit the headlines as a group last week after its Spanish competitor, Hesperia Hoteles, increased its share of NH from 9.5 to 21.38%.

Madrid. Grande Jolly, the hotel company founded in November of last year and led by the Spanish chain NH Hoteles, now plans the 100 percent take over of Italy's Jolly Hotels. Grand Jolly placed its offer with Italy's stock exchange supervisory body Consob on Wednesday evening.

Morgan Stanley shows interest in NH Hoteles

Madrid. Morgan Stanley's investment funds bought 6,5 percent of the share capital from NH Hoteles. The deal was supported by Ponte Gadea.
