Berlin. The Leading Hotels of the World are to return to their roots as reservation system: At the ITB in Berlin last week they presented the long awaited "Private Label" for smaller hotel groups. New IT-Partner here is Trust International.

Luxury through labels

Lausanne. The association of The Leading Hotels of the World has now chosen a successor for President & CEO Paul McManus. As soon as Ted Teng is up to speed, Swiss Chairman Jean-Jacques Gauer will also step down as Chairman of the Leading Hotels Executive Committee. The Managing Director of Lausanne Palace & Spa and owner of the Auberge du Raisin in Cully will leave the position after 18 years in office. Our Swiss correspondent Silvia Pfenniger spoke to the hotelier about Leading and the market.
