October 5, 2007. The US chain announced the opening of a hotel with 184 rooms in Aberdeen, Scottland, in summer 2009. It will be hotel number 100 under the brand Park Inn hotels. There are already 15 Park Inn hotels in Germany, most important franchise-partner in this country is Event Hotels.

Munich. Not all mixed-use concepts make sense. In some design hotels, guests feel as if they were in an Ikea catalogue and poor wellness hotels follow trends from women's magazines. Findings like these and tips for promising hotel concepts were presented by investors, consultants and operators at the "Hospitality Industry Dialogue" during the Expo Real in Munich this week.
