EU tightens rules for Facebook, Amazon & Co.
Within the next six months, Amazon, Meta and Alphabet, Apple, Tiktok and Microsoft have to implement the stricter EU rules.

Amazon, Meta and four other tech giants will have to comply with stricter rules in the EU in future. The EU Commission on Wednesday classified them as "gatekeepers" in order to protect end consumers better.
