Paris. As per June 1, 2006, Dertour and Thomas Cook AG terminated the lease agreement of their Park Hotel SNC joint venture for the Moevenpick Dream Castle Hotel next to Disneyland Resort Paris. An Austrian hotel management group will take over.

Vienna International expands further

Vienna. After recently adding the Dream Castle Hotel at the Disney Resort Paris and the Angelo Hotel in Prague to its belt, Vienna International Hotel Management plc shows no sign of stopping and this year will take on the Hotel Jan III Sobieski in Warsaw with further expansion to follow.

Interlaken. On New Year's Eve at midnight, Rosmarie and Emanuel Berger handed over the keys of the Victoria-Jungfrau Interlaken to their successors Elisabeth and Hans-Rudolf Ruetti. In the course of 36 years, the Berger family turned the run-down "barracks" in the countryside into one of the best and internationally popular hotels in Switzerland. Their work was awarded dozens of prizes.
