Hotel-Investments HY1 2018: Germany remains hot

Frankfurt. International and national investors haven't stopped looking for German hotel real estate. After a rather hesitant first quarter, investments in bricks have increased again and even exceed the previous year's level in the first half of 2018. However, the offer is now thinned out and Forward Deals are the order of the day.

Berlin. In 2017, the hotel investment market in Germany had a volume of around EUR 4.05 billion. This represented a contraction of almost 20% compared to the previous year. All the same, it remains one of the top years of the past decade. The real estate service providers CBRE, JLL, Colliers and BNP Paribas posted current figures on Wednesday.
