47.6% of the Icelandic parliament is made up of women - female employees in Iceland earn around 40,500 euros a year. The country promotes women's careers like no other in Europe. A study shows which EU countries offer the best conditions for female employees.

Across the 46 European nations considered, the analysis focused on variables including estimated female earned income, advancement of women to leadership roles, wage equality for comparable work, and the representation of women in parliament, ministerial positions, and as heads of state.
