André Witschi to take over leadership of Steigenberger

Frankfurt/M. Steigenberger Hotels AG is enlarging its managing board after two years of consolidation. André Witschi, Managing Board Member of Accor Hotellerie Deutschland GmbH until July 2007, will become Chairman of the Board as of February 1, 2008.

Witschi will take over the fields of company development, operations and company communication. Karl Anton Schattmaier, the former Chairman of the Board, will become Vice-Chairman and take responsibility for the fields of group marketing, group sales, human resources and environmental protection in addition to his task as Personnel Director. Matthias Heck will remain responsible for financing and controlling.
