Living in the city becomes more expensive worldwide
Mercer's "Cost of Living City Ranking" survey covers 226 cities around the world. It measures the comparable costs for more than 200 cost factors in each location. These include housing, transport, food, clothing, household goods and entertainment.
The Figures used for comparison come from a survey conducted in March 2024. Mercer is a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan, a global provider of professional services in risk, strategy and HR with annual revenues of USD 23 billion and over 85,000 employees. / red
