New CEO at Vienna Int.: Rupert Simoner to arrive, Andreas Karsten to remain as his shadow

Augsburg. Vienna International has lost its CEO, the Waldorf Astoria GM in Rome has switched to a top address in Paris, Four Seasons has appointed a new person responsible for sales in Frankfurt and Starwood has appointed the first director of its first Element Hotel in Germany.

Vienna. Vienna International last week announced its initial public offering. The company is bursting with confidence. Dr Andreas Karsten, now in his third year as CEO of Vienna International Holding AG, is extremely confident, and continues on his chosen course of expansion. He explains that growth in Germany, Russia and the former CIS states will continue. VI will in future pull out all the stops in order to expand - and will even appear as franchisee for large international brands.
