Online platforms dominate the holiday accommodation market

In 2023, guests from Germany and abroad booked a total of 46.0 million overnight stays in holiday homes and apartments in Germany via the four major online platforms Airbnb, Booking.com, TripAdvisor and Expedia. This means that the four online platforms recorded 8.3% more overnight stays than in 2022.
