Cernobbio. The news hit like a bomb: If the reports of Italian media are anything to go by, a wealthy Sultan is interested in the purchase of Italy's most noble hotel, the Villa d'Este in Cernobbio. The Sultan is expected to make an offer of 280 million Euros; though a second potential buyer is thought to be waiting in the wings with more.
