Berlin. Every year, tourism results are presented and outlook issued at the ITB. The data research company IPK, based in Munich, regularly compiles results in form of the World Travel Monitor for the World Tourism Organisation. This includes all cross-border travel with at least one overnight stay. Research in 60 countries covers around 90% of international travel demand. For the hotel industry, the current growth figures are a call to provide further beds.
