Growth in overnights in tourist accommodation far exceeded that of GDP in 2023. Global overnights grew by about 17% y-o-y, while worldwide GDP only increased by roughly 2.5%. The good news is that this trend is forecasted to continue in 2024, albeit at a less dramatic pace.
