Fundus to become Adlon Collection

Berlin. "I believe Lorenz Adlon would be satisfied with us," were the words with which Anno August Jagdfeld ended his speech. Felix Adlon, the great grandson of the Adlon founder admitted dining at home in Los Angeles with Adlon silver... Noblesse oblige! With a quietly impressive ceremony in the afternoon and luxurious celebrations in the evening, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin saw out its 100th anniversary last Monday in Berlin. 1,000 prominent guests from the world of politics, industry and media mingled among hoteliers and Kempinski veterans. A further 100 bottles of Champagne were added to the over 100,000 already drunk in the hotel since its reopening at the Brandenburg Gate 10 years ago. The Grand Hotel shined in full regalia the entire evening.
