Salzburg's biggest source of funding for tourism is a bank: Raiffeisen

According to the Raiffeisenverband Salzburg (RVS) bank, it finances 70 percent of the region’s tourism businesses and even owns hotels itself. Many hoteliers don't like this: Who wants to lay all their cards on the table for their competitors? The bank's money is also being channelled into tourism infrastructure such as cable cars.
