Wiesbaden. The staff shortage in German speaking Europe is currently still a manageable problem. Above all, it's the fields of sales, congress sales and management where quality staff are lacking. And the situation isn't getting better.

Frankfurt/M. Kempinski Hotels' management strategy will continue to concentrate on Europe, the Middle East, China and Africa, as CEO Reto Wittwer stressed as part of his current tour "It's all about people" through all Kempinski hotels. In these days, in early June, Andreas Pflaum finally succeeded in "pulling himself out of the morass using his own strength like the Baron of Muenchhausen did," as he says beaming with joy.
