Wiesbaden. The pandemic has taken a slice out of Germany's hotel pipeline. 10 to 15% of projects announced in 2019 are now no longer expected to materialise. A-cities have lost the most ground. For existing hotels, this could be an opportunity; they are more sought after by both investors and operators than before. The cards are certainly being reshuffled right now.

Amsterdam. Whether they are looking for "opportunity assets" or not, investors are showing a greater interest for Spanish properties. Both urban and leisure assets, mostly 4 and 5 stars have been traded in the first half of 2022. The future looks bright – despite a slowdown expected in the coming months.
