Madrid. The UNWTO calls for tourism restart to overcome the crisis and published a report with "Global Guidelines". A brand new report on the current status of countries before and during the restart was published yesterday by Horwath HTL. The fear of travelling is decreasing. But Germany has extended the travel warning for 160 non-EU and non-Schengen countries until the end of August. The German Alliance of Independent Travel Companies now wants to take legal action against the Foreign Office.
Stuttgart. The star of the asset class hotel is sinking. Investors, owners and operators want to counter this trend with more digitalization and sustainability, says a current survey by Drees & Sommer. Another survey of operators, however, sees the trend much more positively.
