HITT 2025 Day 2: How Innovation is reshaping hospitality

As the rain joined the party on Day 2 of the HITT 2025 think tank in Brussels, the conversations took a sharp turn from concepts to concrete tools. The afternoon unfolded with intense discussions about what technology and artificial intelligence (AI) really mean for hospitality today, not in the distant future.

The end of the world has been postponed

HITT Think Tank 2025 debated the future of Regenerative Hospitality

Buying a plot of land and building a hotel on it? That's no longer enough. Nature has priority. Stakeholders are demanding the revitalisation of biodiversity and the social integration of locals. Climate risks are rising, destinations struggling. Investors fight. The 8th HITT Think Tank showed the way to Regenerative Hospitality. Two days of intense debate in Brussels.

HITT 2025: Biodiversity and infrastructure

HITT 2025: Biodiversity and infrastructure

Nature sounds the alarm. Green switches to red. How can biodiversity, infrastructure and tourism investment be reconciled? The HospitalityInside Think Tank (HITT) in Brussels will be looking for solutions on 26-27 May 2025. Many people are not yet aware of the topic itself, including investors and developers in the hospitality industry.

Proactively protecting nature - merging it with infrastructure and project planning for tourism and hospitality. This is exactly where the HITT Think Tank 2025 (26/27 May in Brussels) comes in - for and with investors, operators, financial experts, lawyers, ecologists, architects, planners... Join us!

Nature & Investments go hand in hand - Technology & AI change the workflow - The complete HITT program - 2 days, 20 experts - Get on board!

This HospitalityInside Think Tank (HITT) in Brussels will be one of the most strategic ever: It shows new paths to the future, to "regenerative hospitality", to the environment and to the locals. Whether and where sustainable hotels are built is no longer decided by investors, but by urban planners and new infrastructures. In the hotel itself, the AI works with the employees and not against them. And clever IT applications reduce the gap between operator and investor.

Welcome to Tour & Taxis

Tour & Taxis has an interesting history and is now a major urban development project. The Tour & Taxis area was originally a large goods station and warehouse complex built in the 19th century. It was primarily used for goods transport and logistics in Brussels. The name ‘Tour & Taxis’ comes from the original owners, the Taxis brothers, who operated the site in the 19th century.

Today, the site has been redeveloped and is used for flats, offices, parks and cultural facilities. The site is an example of the transformation of an industrial site into a modern urban neighbourhood that combines history and the future.
