Power and Associates 2006 European Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study, released last week during the International Hotel Conference in Rome also ranks German Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, Scandinavian/American Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts, German Dorint Hotels & Resorts and Dutch Tulip Inns highest in guest satisfaction across four hotel segments.
Frankfurt/M. By the start of the German financial year on 1 October, member figures at Romantik Hotels & Restaurants International will have grown by 15 hotels in Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland. All in all, the consortia counts 194 members in 12 countries.
Klagenfurt. NordicFit Hotels is to be the name of a new hotel consortia set to go into operation from January 2007. Their hotels will concentrate on Nordic walkers. The idea for the group comes from the marketing agency GFB & Partners Marketing Services with offices in Austria, Germany and South Tyrol. The goal of NordicFit Hotels is to win over at least 30 hotels for a joint marketing initiative.
Vienna/Frankfurt. Together with the lawyer Florian Kreibich, Austria's Romantik Hotels & Restaurants intend to put a quick end to the stagnation in group membership figures and grow to double their size. The group's "new kid on the block", recently also elected speaker for the newly structured international supervisory board, has ideas of his own.
Munich. Ringhotels are renaming the association of their European partner hotels: "Partner Hotels Europe" is now called "Pleasant Hotels Europe". In addition, the cooperative is being joined by a new member from Sweden.
