London. While 2021 witnessed improvement in many European hotel markets, the recovery has been uneven, with cities continuing to lag behind holiday and provincial locations. The downward spiral in the cities has moved even further downwards for this in 2021. Notably, Germany has overall underperformed compared to the European averages.
