Lucerne. Since October, the Swiss Alpine Classic Hotels are operating under a new name, a name that immediately attracted new members in France, in Mallorca and in Germany. The new selection will market itself particularly on the German market in 2006.
Boston. Advocacy will directly influence more than 30 billion Dollar in travel and hospitality sales in the U.S. this year alone, reports a market research firm from Boston.
Offenbach/Munich. More than a week after the search in the Novotel Frankfurt-Offenbach ordered by the district attorney, Accor's head office in Munich still has not been allowed to examine the files. This is what Marc Schnerr, Accor's spokesman said upon request.
Munich. On Wednesday of this week the Federal German Prosecution Service confiscated 800 files in Novotel Frankfurt-Offenbach. Accor Munich is still waiting to be allowed access to the files.

Munich. The budget hotel chain Motel One has changed its strategy and will now concentrate on expansion in downtown areas. The pilot project in Berlin-Mitte will soon be followed by further hotels. The design aspect is getting more and more into focus.
Hockenheim. While international chains are grazing the German market for small hotel groups in order to impose their brand on them via franchising, the German hotel group Achat is elaborating its own franchise concept. Although, it doesn't want to enter the international market necessarily, it still plans to further penetrate the German-speaking one.
