Negotiators from the European Parliament and the EU member states agreed on a supply chain law two days ago. The aim is to hold large companies accountable if they profit from child or forced labour outside the EU, for example.

The new GreenSign Circular certification is the result of a collaboration between the initiator Stephan Bode and the partners GreenSign Institute, Rittweger + Team and Sentinel Haus Institut. This auditing process is for companies, products and properties that want to place the circular economy at the centre of their activities.

The Achat hotel group is actively taking another step forward in terms of sustainability: 24 of the current total of 50 Achat and Loginn hotels have been equipped with at least two e-scooters from Greentour.de. According to World Bank forecasts, around four billion tonnes of waste will be generated by 2050 - almost 60% more than today. The lion's share is accounted for by the industrialised countries. There, no other sector generates more waste than the construction industry.
